Freida doesn’t shop at flea markets

London: Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto admits her life has changed ever since she became famous, as she no longer shops from flea markets. “I have access to certain things that I wouldn’t ever have before. And now there are other people who do that for me!,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Freida as saying. The 26-year-old actress has worn gowns and dresses from international fashion houses like Chanel and Lanvin at various red carpet events. (IANS)

Serge Pizzorno gave up drugs for music

London: British guitarist Serge Pizzorno says he stopped taking drugs for the sake of his Indie rock band, Kasabian. Pizzorno admits that he and the rest of band members used to party like “tomorrow didn’t matter” and would take lots of illegal substances. “We were absolutely crazy. Because you don’t know how long it’s gonna last. You do an album and you think this is gonna be it, so let’s just enjoy. Tomorrow didn’t matter. We lived at 100 miles an hour,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 30-year-old as saying. “But I just got bored. For me, the most important thing is the art, the music and the things we leave behind. If your music starts to suffer, then it’s not worth it,” he added. (IANS)

‘I was emotionally drained after split’

London: Former model Katie Price says she was “emotionally drained” after her marriage to reality TV star Alex Reid fell apart. The 33-year-old ended her relationship with Reid in January this year after 11 months of marriage. Before Reid she was married to singer Peter Andre. “I find it really, really upsetting. I would not give up on a marriage without good reason. Pete ended our marriage and I would not have done that to someone else unless I had no choice,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 33-year-old as saying. “I had to get out of my marriage to Alex or I would have been damaged. I couldn’t cope with it anymore. I was emotionally drained,” she added. (IANS)
