NONGSTOIN: A quack doctor, Pawlus Wahlang of Ladweitang, Nongstoin allegedly raped a girl of Nongdohlieh near Maweit when she along with her two friends had gone to his clinic for treatment recently.
Sources said that when the girls reached the clnic,the rapist doctor asked the two girls to wait outside while he took the victim to the other room and committed the heinous crime.
The rapist let her free later and threatened to kill her if she confessed the crime to anyone.
An FIR in this regard was lodged today by the girl’s parent at the Women Police Station Nongstoin.
