Arunachal plan outlay of Rs 3200 crore approved

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh State Planning Board (SPB) approved Rs 3200 crore State Plan outlay for 2011-2012, a step up of 28 per cent over last year’s outlay of Rs 2500 crore in a meeting held here on Tuesday.

It included Rs 507.95 crore of the State Own resource (SOR), Rs 2421.05 crore of the Central Assistance including Normal Central Assistance (NCA) of Rs 1028.58 crore, Negotiated Loan of Rs 214.53 crore and Activity Specific ACA of Rs 322.47 crore, according to official sources.

To augment revenue generation, the Tax and excise department will setup integrated border facilitation centers at various entry points/check gates, involving revenue generating departments like Geology and mining, environment and forest etc, he added. (UNI)
