Hearing on domestic help’s murder case

Shillong: Hearing on the murder of a domestic maid in 2007 was held on Friday at the court of Additional District Magistrate RR Marak while the consideration of charges against former Meghalaya DGP WR Marbaniang will be taken up on Monday.

The hearing on charges against Arvil Sangma, an accused in the murder of the maid, Rinehskhem Kharsohnoh, who was employed at the residence of Marbaniang was taken up by senior prosecutor for the CBI VK Jindal.

In a bid to dispose off the case at the earliest, the magistrate has decided not to allow any more adjournments in the case which has already been pending for long.
