Kochhar takes over as Signal Officer-in-Chief

 SHILLONG: Lt Gen SP Kochhar has taken over as the 23rd Signal Officer-in-Chief of the Indian Army from September 1 succeeding Lt Gen P Mohapatra.

The General Officer in an illustrious career spanning 38 years has held various technical, logistic and human resource related command and staff appointments including the Additional Director General of Personnel Services at Army Headquarters.
