NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has asked Home Minister P. Chidambaram and Law Minister Salman Khurshid to meet Chief Justice of India (CJI) S.H. Kapadia and take immediate steps to strengthen security in the Supreme Court complex.

PMO officials said the prime minister has asked the two ministers to call on Justice Kapadia and take “urgent steps to beef up security arrangements” in the court complex.

The prime minister’s directions come in the wake of Wednesday’s bomb blast outside the Delhi High Court complex which killed 13 people.(IANS)
