SHILLONG: One Amit Marak (19), son of T Marak tried to kill himself at his residence at CID Quarter, Bishnupur on Friday.
According to the police, Amit tried to slit his wrist with a broken glass at his house on Friday and was caught in the act by his mother. However, the reason behind his action is still unknown. He was immediately admitted in Shillong Civil Hospital.
