International Year of Chemistry

Synod College in collaboration with the State Council of Science Technology and Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya will celebrate the International Year of Chemistry 2011 at the conference hall of the college at 9.30am on Friday. Member Secretary of SCSTE, Meghalaya RD West will be the chief guest on the occasion.

 Renewal of license

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills has informed that the terms of all existing Fair Price Shop Dealers (Urban and Rural areas) will expire on December 31. Prescribed form for renewal of license for the year 2012 are available in the office of the DC, East Khasi Hills. All applicants should be recommended by the respective Sirdar, Headman, Block Development Officer and will be received in the Supply Office on or before December 20.

 University Week

The last day of the ‘Xceiopressionz’, the university week of the English and Foreign Languages University would be held at its Shillong campus inside NEHU Campus at 1.30pm on Friday. KHNAM legislator Paul Lyngdoh will be the chief guest at the occasion.

 Platinum Jubilee

DNS Wahlang Memorial Secondary School will inaugurate its Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Dinam Hall, Jaiaw at 12pm on October 20. MPCC President, Friday Lyngdoh will be the chief guest.
