Youths nabbed for indecent behaviour

 SHILLONG: Three youths were nabbed by the police from Kench’s Trace area, Laban for allegedly involving in immoral and indecent act inside a car at around 3.45am on Saturday.

According to the police, the three youths probably students were found inside a car parked at a Kench’s Trace area on Saturday morning involving in indecent behaviour and in inebriated condition.They were later taken into police custody for further actions.

Meanwhile, one Dhnakular Sunar (50), wife of Kul Bahadur Sunar, resident of Pohkseh was badly injured when she was stabbed by unknown miscreants at Iew Rynjah here on Saturday morning.

According to the police, she was stabbed by unknown miscreants while she was at the market in the morning. She was immediately shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

In another hit and run case, one Krishan Kumar Rai (14) son of Lakhon Rai resident of Nongmynsong was allegedly hit by an unknown motorbike at Lailad, Nongmynsong here at around 7.30am on Saturday.

According to the police, the unknown biker fled the scene soon after hitting the boy. Rai’s spine and waist was mainly injured and he was immediately shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
