NEW DELHI: The out-of-action Sania Mirza moved up two places to 86 in singles but slipped a rung to 12th in the doubles WTA rankings even as Somdev Devvarman’s standing remained unchanged in the men’s singles ATP list, issued on Monday.

Somdev, who will appear in the Stockholm Open this week, was static on 84 in the ATP singles chart. In the ATP doubles chart, Mahesh Bhupathi dropped to seventh from sixth, just a spot above partner Leander Paes, who was unchanged.

Rohan Bopanna was also static on 16. In the teams ranking, Bhupathi and Paes, who have already qualified for the year-end season finale, were at number four.

The Indo-Pak Express of Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi were at number seven. In the WTA teams list, Sania and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina were placed at number six. (PTI)
