NSD to open centre at Agartala

Agartala: The National School of Drama (NSD) will open a centre here which would be operational from next month, official sources said on Tuesday.

NSD director Anuradha Kapoor met Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and Information and Culture Minister Anil Sarkar yesterday and informed them that the centre would be opened next month. Sources said that initially the centre would start in the Music College and would be shifted after construction of a new building. The NSD would also organise a special workshop for the tribal youths at the headquarters of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, next month. (PTI)
