 Shillong: One person was killed while 4 others received serious injures when the truck in which they were travelling in overturned at Mawkynrew on Tuesday afternoon. The ill-fated vehicle was on its way from Mawkynrew to Shillong. The deceased, identified as Mikinstar Kshiar (31), was the handy-man of the vehicle. The injured are identified as Wallambok Nongbri (45), a junior engineer at Mawkynrew Block, Anthony Lyngdoh Mawphlang (37) from Malki, Darisha Kshiar (29) from Demthring and Rynti Ryntathiang (26) from Mawlai Nonglum.

The two of injured persons were shifted to Nazareth Hospital while two other women were taken to Woodland Hospital.
