SHILLONG: The one-man inquiry committee, constituted to probe ‘secret killing’ by the A’chik National Volunteers Council (ANVC) militants, has submitted its report.

This was informed by the Commissioner and Secretary (Commissioner of Division Tura) Peter W Ingty, who headed the panel, on Tuesday

The ANVC was accused of killing several Garo youths by another militant outfit of Garo Hills — the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA). The GNLA later accused the ANVC cadres of indulging into ‘secret killings’.
