KSU donates mosquito nets

 NONGSTOIN: The KSU West Khasi Hills district has donated more than 200 mosquito nets through Sordar of Sawlad village P Mawdoh, which are meant for five Assam-Meghalaya border villagers recently at Mairang.

It may be known that a fact finding team of the union under the leadership of Sanjied Kynsai Shangrit visited Sawlad village on October 8 last as the union got the information that five villages of Sawlad, Nongrilong, Umsha, Umsohiang and Patharsipiah bordering with Assam are contemplating to merge with Assam Government for being neglected by the Meghalaya Government.
