SHILLONG: In one of the biggest IT raids in the Northeastern region, sleuths from the Income Tax Office (ITO), North Eastern Region (NER), Guwahati raided the showrooms, residences, offices and factories of Manikchand Jewellers, a well-known jewelry dealer located at GS Road, Guwahati. The raid was conducted on Thursday morning in various Indian cities where the jewelry group has its branches. IT sources informed that raids were conducted simultaneously in Kolkata, Bangalore and other Indian cities by IT sleuths.
