Los Angeles: Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan treated the staff at the Los Angeles County Morgue to cupcakes and burgers after turning up late for her community service.
The 25-year-old bought the food to apologise to the employees but it wasn’t accepted by the employees. Lohan has been ordered to work for 16 hours per week until her probation hearing on November 2, reported TMZ.com.
“It is unfortunate that Lindsay’s well-intentioned actions were not taken in the spirit in which she intended to say she was sorry for yesterday’s misunderstanding,” Lohan’s representative said.
Lohan was taken into custody for missing too many community service appointments under her DUI probation but was later released on bail. The actress could face up to 18 months in prison if she is found guilty of violating her probation until the next court hearing. (PTI)
