Achievement

Dr Valensha Surong, consultant in Bawri Nethralaya, Shillong successfully completed her Master Degree in Public Health (Community Eye Health) from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London this year. She is the first lady to have been conferred with this degree from the North Eastern states and her project involved Survey of Childhood blindness in Meghalaya.
