Religious service
The religious service for blessing of the graveyards at Mawprem Catholic Cemetery would be held on November 7 with the holy mass at 1 pm.The Joint Committee Catholic Cemetery at Mawkhar and Mawprem Parish has asked the relatives a of those laid to rest in the cemetery to attend the function.
Procession
St Joseph Church Parish, Mawkhar will organised the Maria procession on October 30 at 5 pm. The procession would start from Mawkhar parish to Jaiaw Pdeng, Gordon Robert Hospital, Jaiaw and would finally culminate at Jaiaw Langsning community hall.
Unidentified body
An unidentified person who met with an accident on October 22 succumbed to his injuries at Shillong Civil Hospital. The relatives are requested to collect the body from the hospital morgue.
Concert
The jingiaseng Samla Balang Presbyterian Khliehriat will organise a Gospel Concert Cum Advance Christmas celebration on December 2011.Famous band from North East,Mizoram “Magdalene” will be performing at the concert.

Food Fest 2011
The Counselling Centre of the Jingiaseng Kynthei Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Sepngi is organising a ‘Food Fest 2011’ at KJP Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Mission Compound from 11am onwards on Wednesday in aid of the construction of its new building at Raitsamthiah.
