Nagaland Medicine Dealers to join stir

Kohima: The Nagaland Medicine Dealers’ Association (NMDA) has directed all its members in and around Dimapur to hoist black flag in front of their respective shops for about a week or more starting October 29 next.

A press note issued by the NMDA here today said that they were also coming out in support of a call given by Naga Council, Dimapur (NCD) and several other organizations’ decision to hold rally and protest against the anti-social activities like extortion, intimidation, kidnapping for ransom and robberies in Dimapur.

It also informed every member to stand in front of their business premises with black armband and placards from 0800 hours to 1000 hours October 29 next.

It may be mentioned here that the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) along with the business establishments in Dimapur, as part of its anti-social awareness campaign, have decided to erect hoardings against extortion, illegal taxation, kidnapping and anti-social activities in and around Dimapur from 0800 hours to 1000 hours on Saturday, October 29 next.
