TT Championship underway in city

 SHILLONG: The 29th State Table Tennis Championships organised by Meghalaya Table Tennis Association began at the U Tirot Sing Syeim Indoor Stadium on Thursday. The three day tournament features 18 categories from Cadet to Veterans event with over 200 entries in singles and doubles. All the seeded players progressed in their respective categories apart from Camelia Diendoh who lost 3-0 to Anwesha Choudhury in the sub junior girls category quarterfinals and Nita Singha who lost to Netra Sangma 3-0 in the quarters of the same category.
