New Delhi: The Principal Resident Commissioner of Meghalaya House here, Shailendra Mendiratta, has been transferred to the State as the Principal Secretary in charge of Labour and other departments from the next month.
Mendiratta, a senior IAS officer of 1981 batch belonging to Assam-Meghalaya cadre served in different capacities in top positions both in the state and at the centre. He also served as a Joint Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office.
