GSU stir from Nov 3

 SHILLONG: The East Zone unit of the Garo Students’ Union (GSU) has called for an indefinite office picketing and an indefinite night road blockade from November 3 in support of its various demands.

The indefinite night road blockade (5pm to 5am) will be effective in the entire East Zone area.

The students’ body on Monday sent a memorandum to Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma through East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner in this connection.

In the memorandum, it demanded a full time principal besides an adequate lecturers, other staff and basic infrastructure in the Williamnagar Government College
