Rapist outcast from clan

 JOWAI: The Sein Kur Dkhar clan of the Jaintia Hills has taken stern action against one Rom Dkhar who is a member of the clan for allegedly raping his sixteen-year-old cousin of the same clan.

The general secretary of the Sein Kur Dkhar informed that the meeting of the clan held recently resolved to outcast Rom from the clan.

The alleged rapist was arrested in Ladrymbai recently for raping his cousin sister at her residence at Wapungshnong village in Jaintia Hills last August and was remanded to judicial custody.
