 SHILLONG: A Bhandara was organized at Ramakrishna Mission here on Tuesday.

The Bhandara – a special gathering along with a feast – in the memory of Late Swami Prameyanandaji Maharaj who passed away at Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan Hospital, Kolkata on October 20. He was 79. He joined the Order in 1951 at RK Mission, Karimganj. He was also associated with RK Mission, Shillong from 1953-60.

A special puja was organized on the occasion in the morning. A Yagya was also performed by the monks of RK Mission. Besides this, a gathering of initiated devotees of Swami Prameyanandaji among other devotees was organized in the Main Hall. Many devotees spoke about the departed soul.
