‘I married for love, not for TV’: Kim

New York: Socialite Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce just 72 days after marrying basketball player Kris Humphries, denies that she married only for TV shows.

“I married for love. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show,” Kardashian wrote on his blog.

Kardashian and Humphries tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in August that was televised for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. She filed for divorce Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The reality TV star admits it was a mistake showing the weeding on TV, reports people.com.

“I share so much of my life on a reality show that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out not be the smartest decision. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have,” she wrote.

The 26-year-old Kris is, however, devastated that Kim wants to dump him. He was to appear at a Las Vegas club Nov 5 but has cancelled the plans.

Kris said Oct 31 that he was committed to the marriage. (IANS)
