Conference
The Manipuri Sahitya Parishad will hold its 7th Annual Conference at the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad Hall, Jail Road on November 13 at 9am. The one day conference will be attended by eminent writers from Manipur, Assam, Tgripura, Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya.
Resignation
The president of the National Congress Party (NCP), Meghalaya State Unit, Leenga A Sangma has tendered his resignation from the post of the Block President and has also withdrawn his primary membership from the National Congress Party on personal grounds with effect on November 4.
Food Fest
The Reach Shillong Ministries, a Christian Ministry working for the street children and commercial sex workers is organising a ‘Jumble Sale Cum Food Fest’ in aid for construction of a permanent children’s home at 11am in Fire Brigade Football Ground, Laitumkhrah on Friday.
