SHILLONG: The State Security Commission (SSC) has not met even once after the appointment of N Ramachandran as the DGP of the State.

As per the State Police Act, 2010, the SSC is supposed to meet every month, sources said on Tuesday.

“But the SSC has not met once after the appointment of Ramachandran on September 11,” sources said.

When contacted, VGK Kynta, a prominent lawyer and SSC member, however, refused to comment in this regard.
