SHILLONG: The BSF on Tuesday arrested one suspected GNLA over ground worker from West Garo Hills. The suspected GNLA member has been identified as Samsual Islam, resident of Dhubri (Assam). BSF personnel also recovered six demand notes signed by GNLA ‘area commander’ Karak Momin. The arrest was made when the suspected GNLA worker was heading towards Lukaichar village from Mankachar in his vehicle to deliver the demand notes. The arrested person and the vehicle have been handed over to Mahendraganj police station.
