Kohima: Nagaland Directorate of Tourism has restricted entry of any unauthorised person in the Naga Heritage Village at Kisama where preparation works started for the week-long National Hornbill Festival, which will begin from December 1 next.

Official sources here on Thursday said the Directorate of Tourism has informed general public that entry into the Naga Heritage Village Kisama (NHVK) would be strictly regulated throughout the year except during government functions due to reports of rampant theft, damages, robberies, quarries, use of intoxicating substances by revelers, miscreants and unscrupulous elements.

However, permission can be obtained from the authority incharge for facilities to host wedding receptions, picnic parties, festivals and for other celebrations.

Small groups, individuals and visitors, who are interested to visit NHVK have been informed to collect entry ticket from the entry fee collector at site. (UNI)
