SHILLONG: The Mawry-ngkneng Dorbar Shnong has refuted the allegation that the (Area Employment Council) AEC and Village Employment Council (VEC) of Mawryngkneng have misused the fund allotted to implement the NREGS scheme.
Mawryngkneng village Sordar Klinton Kharsati on Friday said the AEC /VEC did not misuse the fund and added, “Whatever the AEC/VEC were doing was with the full consent and approval of the village dorbar.”
It may be mentioned that the KSU’s Mawryngkneng unit earlier had alleged the AEC and VEC of Mawryngkneng had misused the NREGS scheme fund.
