GUWAHATI: Fans and mourners of legendary music composer and singer Dr Bhupen Hazarika continued to pay homage to the late maestro as urns containing ashes of his funeral pyre travel across Assam on Friday.

The ashes will be submerged in major rivers flowing through the state. It had already been submerged in Jorhat and Nagaon districts today.

Meanwhile, a public shraddh ceremony of the late maestro had been planned by the family of Dr Hazarika and the state government on November 15.
