A protest against the govt for not reconstructing the bridge

A timber bridge that connects Amlarem with Muktapur, near Pdenshakap village in Jaintia hills district, was set on fire by unknown miscreants on Monday morning. There are allegations that residents of the area had intentionally set the bridge

on fire as a protest against the government for not reconstructing the bridge and repairing the road. (ST)
