Rotary Club rewards Gabriel on Children’s Day

 SHILLONG: The Rotary Club of Shillong rewarded Gabriel Langrin by giving him cash award, gifts & clothes on the occasion of Children’s day on Monday.

Gabriel Langrin, hailing from village near Nongstoin, showed immense courage and bravery when he saved his two little sisters , Theilita Langrin and Steplita Langrin and his youngest brother Pynshailang Langrin from the clutches of death, by pulling them out of the house , when it caught fire.

Gabriel was preparing tea for his sisters and brother, after coming from school, on the 12th October 2011 at around 4.00pm, when the thatched house they were living in, caught fire, due to the spilling of kerosene oil.
