Poachers held

JORHAT (Assam):Four poachers were on Friday arrested from Kaziranga National Park in a joint operation by police and forest guards.

Acting on a tip-off, the poachers were held from Mohkora area under Kohora range, Park Director Surajit Dutta said.

Police recovered a hand-made gun and five cartridges from the poachers. The poachers have been identified as Samiul Ganak, Anderson Sowra, John Sangma and Jakhama Janak. (PTI)
