SHILLONG: Shillong Cricket Association (SCA) thrashed West Khasi Hills by 224 runs in a league match of the Shillong zone Inter District Cricket Tournament organized by Meghalaya Cricket Association here on Friday.

The hosts SCA won the toss and elected to bat first The SCA batters host piled up a massive score of 274 for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Raj Biswa top scopred with 69 runs, while Amiangshu notched up 67 runs followed by valuable contribution from Sylvester with 63 runs and Shellingstar contributing 55 runs. Karlestar claimed two wickets for West Khasi Hills. In reply West Khasi Hills were bundled out for a paltry 50 runs with only Karlestar reaching double figure of 11 runs. Amiangshu in an all round performance claimed three wickets with support from Pynkemlang who claimed the same number of wickets for SCA. Shillong Super League: The Shillong Cricket Association has invited applications from interested registered clubs/associations for the Super/First/Second Division of SCA Shillong Cricket League 2011-12 which will commence from December 12. The forms are available with SCA and the last date register is December 3rd.
