Tura body to honour Dr Hazarika

 TURA: The Tura Natya Samity, a socio-cultural organization, has condoled the demise of cultural icon of the North-East, Dr Bhupen Hazarika, who passed away on November 5.

As a mark of respect to Dr Hazarika, the organisation will be hosting musical soiree on December 4 at Tura Natya Samity hall in Babupara.

The eventful evening, a journey of song, dance and poetry titled “Bouquets for the Balladeer” will witness a number of local artists rendering Dr Hazarika’s soulful numbers.
