SHILLONG: Fresh from a 1-0 home win against Pailan Arrows, Shillong Lajong coach Pradyum Reddy said his team would play their natural attacking game against the in-form Dempo in Margao on Wednesday.

“Looking forward to the game against Dempo as we want to test ourselves against the in-form team,” Reddy told The Shillong Times.

“It is difficult to defend against teams like Dempo and the best strategy would be to play an attacking game with a positive intent,” he said while adding that depending on the progress of the match, changes in strategy can be made accordingly.

The Lajong coach stressed that a win on Wednesday was very important considering the fact that it is an away match.

“Last season we only managed eight points away from home. We would definitely like to better that handsomely this time,” Reddy said.

Lajong would field an almost full strength squad with the exception of Henry Gangte and Gumpe Rime who are still nursing injuries.
