23 clear black belt exam from State

SHILLONG: A total of 23 aspirants cleared the Black Belt Examination conducted by the Taekwondo Federation of India in Shillong. The Meghalaya Taekwondo Association received the confirmation and certificates from the World Taekwondo Federation(WTF), Kukiwon, South Korea for the same. WTF is the world affiliated body of the International Olympic Council. The 23 candidates come from all the seven districts of the state and with the Black Belt Certificates, these Taekwondo students would be eligible to represent the state in national championships. Another Black Belt Examination would be conducted soon by the Meghalaya Taekwondo Association under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India.
