Radio Frequency Cards

The Radio Frequency Tags issued to correspondents on behalf of newspapers, news agencies and electronic media for access to the Lok Sabha Press gallery during the year 2012 will be valid from January 1 to December 31, 2012. Names of correspondents should be forwarded latest by December 5, 2011.

 Appeal to release BDO

The Bodo Sahitya Sabha and Boso Community has appealed to the GNLA activists and the state government to release and rescue BDO Prafulla Boro who was abducted on November 21 by the outfit. The Bodo Sahitya Sabha has appealed to the Governor and Chief Minister for taking positive measure for release and rescue of the abducted official.

 Unclaimed body

Police has informed that one unknown person (35-40 years) who was traveling from Nongstoin to Shillong in a tourist sumo (ML 06 2842) suddenly became seriously ill on reaching 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong and after the 108 Ambulance took him to Shillong Civil Hospital, the said person was pronounced dead. The body is still lying in the hospital. Relatives are therefore requested to identify the body.
