 SHILLONG: Women’s College, Shillong is organizing the “Third Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar National Endowment Lecture” on December 1 at 2pm.

Noted scholar Prof Pabitra Sarkar, Indira Gandhi Prize for National Integration Awardee and former Vice-Chancellor, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata will speak on “My Teachers: Narratives on how and what we learn”.

Besides the college will organize a two-day National Seminar on “Tagore Educational Philosophy and its Relevance in Contemporary India” on December 2-3. The inaugural session on December 2 will be attended by Chief Minister, Dr Mukul Sangma as chief guest. Prof Pabitra Sarkar would be the guest of honour.
