Badhte Kadam III in Nongstoin

 NONGSTOIN: Badhte Kadam III of National Trust was held at Nongstoin in collaboration with SSA, District Social Welfare Office, and MEPAD, West PAD, district administration and all offices under Nongstoin.

As part of Badhte Kadarn III, training for parents of disabled children was conducted at Block Resource Centre Nongstoin where 75 parents attended. The purpose of the training was to teach the parents how to take care of disabled children and to understand their needs, rights etc. On December 2, an assessment camp of disabled persons was held and the flagging off of Badhte Kadam was held at New Nongstoin Playground by Deputy Commissioner S.Kharlyngdoh. A rally was also held from New Nongstoin ground to Bishop’s house Nongstoin. Meeting for making the public aware of disability was also held on the occasion.
