NYKS holds orientation training

 NONGPOH: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meghalaya Zone in collaboration with the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), conducted the 2nd batch orientation training of 10 days for the National Youth Corps Volunteers working with the NYKS at the premises of the SIRD at Nongsder, Ri-Bhoi district.

The training was inaugurated on November 28 to be concluded on December 5.

The training was well attended by over 60 volunteers from East Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills, West Khasi Hills, Ri-Bhoi District, East Garo Hills and West Garo Hills.

In the training, the NYC volunteers would be imparted training in various skills in the field of rural development.
