Hottest Naga Chilli Eating competition held

KOHIMA: The much awaited Naga King Chilli (Raja Mircha), second hottest chilli of the world and pork fat eating contest was held in the Heritage village Kisama on Sunday, which was conducted by XL foundation.

According to the organisers, the objective of conducting the competition is to promote the Naga chilli which is popularly grown in Nagaland and the indigenous sport of pork eating contest, which is also popularly used in all the festivals of the Nagas.

Altogether 15 contestants, including two women, participated in pork eating competition and 23 contestants participated in the chilli eating competition. (UNI)
