‘Railway needed for State’

 SHILLONG: AICC secretary, in-charge of Meghalaya Dhaniram Shandil during his visit to the State addressed the members of the 14th Pynthorumkhrah block Congress committee on Monday last.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhaniram Shandil said that railway lines were needed in state for development besides highlighting Nehru’s love for the hill people. Earlier, acting president of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee Deborah Marak informed about the 16 flagship programmes of the party.
