Kohima: ‘Higher on maiden’ from UK, the official tribute band of Iron Maiden, will be performing in Dimapur on December 17.

A statement here said, “this tour is a part of ‘7 Sisters’ Rock Fest’ and will hit Ukhrul in Manipur on December 13, Imphal in Manipur on December 15, and then Dimapur at Dimapur District Sports Complex Stadium on December 17.” The event promises to be a high profile one with Higher-on-Maiden belting out the greatest hits of Iron Maiden. There will be two local bands opening the show in every venue.

The event is being organised by ‘7 Sisters Entertainment’ financed by SKY Group, SKY Connect and SKY Wealth Management.

According to the organisers, tickets were priced at Rs 299 to make it affordable for everyone to see the international band perform.

The idea behind this tour is to build a bridge for local bands to stay connected, share ideas and take support from the international artists towards the global music scene. It will also indirectly promote state tourism, enhance local music scene and international ties, the statement added. (UNI)
