SHILLONG: The ex-secretary of Shree Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan (SRVB) SK Agarwala has refuted the charges levelled against him by Vimal Bajaj and Kunj Behari Ajmera, both office bearers of the newly-elected committee of SRVB.

Bajaj made a defamatory statement against the ex-secretary on November 29 in a section of the press saying that Agarwala had not given the account of his tenure for a period of eight and half years. On December 7, Ajmera made a similar statement. “This is totally incorrect,” said Agarwala.

Agarwala, while clarifying his stand, said after the completion of the tenure of the previous committee, he handed over the charge to the election panel appointed by the Gauhati High Court, Shillong Bench, Shillong along with all the documents including bank pass book, cheque books etc.

He also threatened to move court if Bajaj and Ajmera failed to apologize to him.
