Hospital safety plan
The District Disaster Management Authority, East Khasi Hills District under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner will be holding a meeting on the Hospital Safety Plan for effective response in case of outbreak of any emergency on December 19 from 3.00 pm in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner. Administrators of City Hospitals will also attend the meeting. A group of experts have also been invited to attend the meeting.
Christmas wishes
The Dorbar Shnong Mawlai Mawiong has conveyed its best wishes on the occasion of Christmas and New Year to the residents of Mawiong and Shillong city as a whole.
Xmas Carol
The Shillong YMCA conducted a special Christmas Carol Service on Saturday at at St Edmund’s College Auditorium where various church choirs and singing groups participated. The YMCA will also visit the orphanage at Kharang Village and Mawjrong Village on December 20-21.
