Underground cable stolen

 SHILLONG: The Additional General Manager (CFA), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has informed that one 1200 pr underground cable carrying telephone traffic and serving approximately one thousand customers has been cut and stolen by miscreants near Civil Hospital recently.

He said that total restoration is expected by December 22 and the areas to be affected are Barik, Survey of India Estate, Nongmalki Road besides some part of Upper Lachaumiere, Malki, Malki Lumbalang and Malki Nongshilliang.
