Drive against illicit liquor

 SHILLONG: The excise staff of East Khasi Hills in its drive against the illicit liquor conducted raids in different restaurants and stalls of the town.

During the month of November, the excise staff detected 44 cases with a seizure of 103.450 litres of liquor and 11.835 litres IMFL.

44 persons were arrested under Excise Act in this connection.
