Christ the Saviour is born

A crib depicting the birth of Jesus Christ displayed in the premises of Don Bosco Technical Institute on Sunday. An amalgamation of lights, decorations, a bright shining star hung on top of a Christmas tree added to the beauty of the above dispaly on Christmas night in Shillong. Unlike normal Sunday mornings, churches all over the city were filled with believers who thronged their respective places of worship to celebrate with utmost joy, the day Jesus Christ was born. The city wore a bright and colorful look as faithfuls decked up in their best attires made their way to the city churches to attend special services on Christmas day.
